The family run Prendiville Group is selling the Pier 21 Apartment Hotel in Perth with price expectations of more than $20 million. The boutique 47-room hotel in North Fremantle comprises three buildings across a 4006sq m land parcel fronting the Swan River. It is being sold by CBRE’s Ryan McGinnity and Ben Younger with a leaseback to the Prendiville Group.

Singapore’s Royal Group has tipped the InterContinental Sydney Double Bay five-star hotel in the heart of the eastern suburbs onto the market with expectations in excess of $150 million. Controlled by the Hiranandani family, Royal Group Holdings owns an extensive Asia-Pacific portfolio of hotels, shopping centres, office towers, industrial property and residential developments.

The Lantern Hotel Group has sold its last remaining pub, the Crown Hotel in Sydney’s Surry Hills, to Damian Kelly’s Peak Investments for $26.1 million. Well-known Sydney publican Jason Marlow is taking over the management of the landmark Top 200 gaming hotel. The purchase takes Peak Investments’ portfolio to three assets, adding to their recent acquisitions the Rose & Crown Hotel, Parramatta and the Corrimal Hotel.
